Yes. Communities, channels, direct messages, private groups, voice and video calls, screen sharing and encrypted file sharing are part of the free experience. Meldiq Plus is optional.

Yes. Create a community in Meldiq, then make it discoverable or keep it invitation-only. Organize it with categories, text and announcement channels, forums, threads and voice channels.

Invite people into your community using Meldiq’s invitation tools. Invitations can have limits. Community invites and personal referral offers are different: check the offer shown in your account before relying on referral rewards.

Owners, administrators, moderators and custom roles help organize a community. Permissions apply at channel and category level, so you can decide who can see and participate in each space.

Community controls include reports, bans, timeouts, invitation limits and slow mode. Reports sent from the app go to the community’s moderators. Community rules also need to follow Meldiq’s Acceptable Use Policy.

Meldiq stores messages to deliver conversation history. Files are encrypted before upload. Current messages can include attachment keys that the Meldiq server can read. Call-media encryption has its own indicator.

The service stores messages for conversation history. The server can see account and profile information, community and channel names, roles and memberships, and routing information such as which conversation a message goes to, when it was sent and its size. Files are encrypted before upload. Current attachment keys can be read by the Meldiq server. Call audio, video and screen sharing are end-to-end encrypted when call encryption is on, which is the default. Check the encryption indicator in the app for your call.

No independent security audit is claimed by the current public website. It describes established encryption libraries and automated tests. Those are not an independent audit.

Meldiq is available on the web, Android and Windows. Visit Download for the Windows installer. Native iPhone, iPad and macOS apps are planned.

Yes. The public download page lists recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari versions. Open web.meldiq.app; there’s nothing to install.

Meldiq Plus is the optional personal plan at $4.99 USD per month, with files up to 1 GB each. See Pricing for the current message, screen-sharing, Spark, custom emoji, sticker and bot allowances. Core messaging remains free. Spark community boosting and Bots+ for a community are separate products.

Yes. Meldiq Plus belongs to your Meldiq account. Sign in with the same account on supported devices to use the same subscription.

For a PayPal subscription, sign in to Billing, choose “Cancel subscription” and confirm. For an earlier subscription with a billing portal, use “Manage payment method, invoices and cancellation”. The published terms say access continues until the end of the paid period, then the subscription stops renewing.

The payment provider may retry failed payments and a grace period may apply. The current public configuration does not specify its length. Check the terms shown for your subscription or your existing billing account rather than assuming a number of days.

The published terms say your messages, communities, files and members stay. The account returns to the free tier; adding more beyond applicable free limits can be restricted. No existing content is deleted solely because Meldiq Plus ends.

PayPal processes new website subscriptions on its own secure pages. Meldiq keeps billing references rather than card numbers. This marketing website does not collect payment information.

Sparks boost a community for everyone in it, with extra emoji and sticker capacity, file capacity and voice or screen-sharing quality. Configured benefits are a preview; enforced entitlements have not been confirmed. Paid Spark availability is not confirmed; check the app before planning a purchase.

Assign Sparks to a community you belong to, move them or take them back in Meldiq. Check the purchase and expiration terms in the app before paying.

Gifting is not currently confirmed for sale. The existing website describes planned Meldiq Plus gifts paid once without automatic renewal, with the recipient choosing when to start. Check availability and terms in the app.

Use the original Meldiq password-recovery page linked from Support. Follow its instructions in your account email. Never send a password or recovery code to someone offering support.

Meldiq’s public feature list includes passkeys, authenticator-based two-step sign-in, recovery codes and signed-in session management. Set these up in the app and keep recovery material somewhere safe.

Open your account’s signed-in sessions in Meldiq and end the session you no longer recognize or use. This marketing website does not manage device access.

In the Meldiq app, go to Settings › Account. Cancel any subscription that still renews first. Read Account deletion & your data for what is removed and what may remain with other participants or in required records.
